At Home Bathroom Finds | Moving Series Episode 3
How many trips does it take before a new house finally starts to feel like home? Apparently, quite a few—but little by little, every room is beginning to come together.
Welcome to Episode 3 of my Moving Series, where I’m turning this house into a home—one step at a time. In this episode, I’m sharing a few bathroom finds from At Home, along with a much-needed cleaning upgrade for our floors.

Coming Home With My Hands Full
The video begins with me walking through the door after shopping with my hands completely full. After turning off the lights, closing the door, taking off my shoes, and carrying everything upstairs, I was finally ready to unpack my finds.
It may have only been a small shopping trip, but I found several practical pieces that will help our bathrooms feel more complete.
A Much-Needed Mop for the Floors
Before getting into the bathroom décor, I shared the Libman Tornado Mop that I purchased.
The floors have been getting extremely dirty, and the Swiffer just wasn’t giving me the deeper clean I needed. I wanted a traditional mop that could really help me scrub the floors and keep them looking clean as we continue settling into the house.
Finishing My Son’s All-Black Bathroom
My son wants an all-black bathroom, so I picked up a few more pieces to continue bringing his vision together.
I found a plant with a black planter that adds a little life to the room while still matching the dark color scheme. I also purchased a black shower curtain, which will help pull the entire look together.
For some of the more practical items, I found a black toilet brush holder and an inexpensive black wastebasket. The wastebasket isn’t anything elaborate, but it matches the theme and gives him something useful for the space.
There are still a few more things I need to purchase before his bathroom is completely finished, but it is slowly coming together.
A Few Finds for My Bathroom
I’m still deciding exactly what theme I want for my own bathroom.
I currently have some older decorations that were packed away in storage, and I’ve started putting some of those pieces back out. I found two planters that I think will work well with the décor I already have, but they are also neutral enough to use if I decide to change the entire look later.
I’m thinking about placing the planters in a corner of the bathroom. Let me know whether you think that would be the best place for them or if you would style them somewhere else.
I also found two bathroom rugs that I’m planning to place near the shower and bathtub. They should help make the room feel a little warmer and more comfortable.
Making Bath Time More Relaxing
One of my favorite personal finds from this trip was the bath pillow.
I love taking baths, especially when I need time to slow down and relax. I’m hoping the pillow will make the tub a little more comfortable and help turn bath time into a true self-care moment.

Little by Little, It’s Coming Together
There are still more items to purchase and plenty of spaces left to organize, but I’m enjoying seeing the house slowly become our home.
