5 Things Helping Me Protect My Peace This Season
Lately, life has been teaching me how important peace really is.
Not just quiet moments, but real peace mentally, emotionally, financially, and spiritually. I’m learning that protecting your peace sometimes means slowing down, changing your mindset, creating healthier habits, and being honest about what no longer feels good for you.
This season of my life has looked very different than I imagined, but I’m choosing to continue growing through it instead of giving up.
Here are a few things that have genuinely been helping me protect my peace lately.
1. Spending More Time With God
One thing I’ve learned is that peace doesn’t always come from having everything figured out. Sometimes it comes from trusting God even when life feels uncertain.
Prayer, gratitude, and simply taking quiet moments for myself have been helping me stay grounded during stressful times.
2. Creating Soft Moments In My Day
Lighting a candle, making tea, cooking a delicious meal, listening to calming music, or simply sitting in silence for a few minutes has been helping me mentally reset.
Life can feel overwhelming sometimes, so I’m learning that small peaceful moments matter more than I realized.
3. Protecting My Energy
I’ve started realizing that not every conversation, situation, or relationship deserves access to my energy.
Protecting my peace has also meant paying attention to how certain environments and people make me feel emotionally.
4. Giving Myself Grace
At this stage in life, I thought I would have everything figured out already. But I’m learning that growth doesn’t always happen on the timeline we expect.
Instead of constantly being hard on myself, I’m trying to appreciate how far I’ve already come.
5. Continuing To Build The Life I Want
Even on difficult days, I’m still choosing to keep going.
Whether it’s building my brand, creating content, growing personally, or simply trying to become a better version of myself, I’m learning that consistency matters more than perfection.
I may not be exactly where I want to be yet, but I truly believe I’m moving in the right direction.
Thank you for being here and supporting my journey 🤍
